The Stage is Yours...

No, no... I don't want you to "Rock the Mic". I want you to speak your mind and share your thoughts.

I want to start my first post of this year by giving you the floor. I want to hear from you as the real expert on you is... (Drum roll please!) YOU! (Where is Dr. Phil when you need him)

  • What's on your mind?
  • What do you want to know?
  • What are you struggling with in your fitness and nutrition program?
  • What has helped you reach your goals or get you closer to your goals?
  • Exercise and Nutrition guidance
  • Etc...

This is your opportunity to get answers to your questions and proven solutions to a problem as it relates to reaching and achieving your goals in health and wellness.

There is so much misinformation out there—I would like to help you clear the air and get to the facts not just opinion. The bottom line is most of issues are due to lack of knowledge and the wrong mindset.

I will compile your questions and ideas and respond with answers directly or in the coming posts.

What say you?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Be Well.

  1. Ok the stage is mine, well alright! My biggest challenges are getting my mind right, beoming one with my eating habit and then committing to working out. Once I have my eating habits down, I can't stand the thought of going to the gym. Then once I am committed to working out, I am eating like a hog! It’s rare that both are on the same page and I struggle with that constantly. Any suggestions

  2. Thanks for your post. Great question.

My suggestion would be try to conquer this obstacle by breaking the issues down into manageable goals to overcome piece by piece. Attempting to get every aspect of nutrition and exercise to be in alignment is difficult for most. So to relieve the pressure of trying to be perfect - I suggest 80/20 rule. 80% of the time try to focus on making healthy choices and exercising on a manageable schedule you can commit to - 20% of time enjoy yourself and rest.

However what most people don't realize when involved in a exercise program your appetite will actually increase due to the increase in energy requirements. So to control it eating small portion more frequently (2-3hrs) will help control the cravings and appetite.

Remember the goal is really to improve 1% everyday as success in nutrition and health is a direction not a destination.

    Be Well.
